Native Realty Brokers Flurry of Deals in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties

Native Realty, the pioneering Fort Lauderdale-based real estate firm led by Jaime Sturgis, is brokering transactions at an impressive pace over the first two months of 2025. Firm COO Kaley Tuning finalized six new leases at Fort Lauderdale’s Thrive Arts District, while Vice President Adam Docktor brokered industrial leases in Opa-locka, Central Broward County and Pompano Beach.

Thrive is a transformative 5.3-acre site located steps away from two large-scale mixed-use projects that will be home to nearly 1,000 residents. It features food-and-beverage, retail and office space and a 17,000-square-foot courtyard that hosts weekly events and concerts.

Tuning represented the landlord in leases with the following tenants:

  • Pulse Pilates, which leased 1,875 square feet
  • Summit Marketing & Promotions, which leased 1,270 square feet
  • Prosper with Pros Performance and Medicine, a chiropractic service specializing in professional athletes, which leased 1,270 square feet
  • YogiThot, which leased 1,251 square feet
  • Casa De Kava, which leased 1,218 square feet
  • Laurie Duncan Fine Art, which leased 772 square feet

In Opa-locka, Docktor represented the landlord in a 22,000-square-foot industrial lease with Best Used Gym Equipment, LLC. The property is located at 2600 NW 141 St.

Docktor also finalized an 8,000-square-foot lease with Precision Gutters at Elevate Broward, an 11-building business park with 357,000 square feet across 20 acres. Docktor oversees leasing at Elevate Broward, an ideal last-mile option for logistics, transportation, construction firms, e-commerce, distribution tenants and more. The business park is near I-95, Florida’s Turnpike and U.S. 441.

Over the last few months, Docktor brokered over 50,000 square feet in leases at Elevate Broward. For more information about the business park, visit elevatebroward.co.

In Pompano Beach, Docktor represented the landlord in a 4,000-square-foot lease with Champions World Boxing & Fitness. The property is located at 850 SW 14th Court.

Native is also actively working on $50 million in off-market investment sales opportunities on behalf of commercial real estate investor clients.

“We continue to be in high demand from commercial real estate property owners, developers and tenants throughout South Florida,” Sturgis said. “If the first two months of 2025 are any indication, this will be an extremely productive year for our team.”
