Jaime Sturgis Brokers Off-Market Investment Sales Transaction in Dania Beach

Native Realty, the pioneering Fort Lauderdale-based real estate firm led by Jaime Sturgis, continued its investment sales closing surge with the off-market sale of a Dania Beach industrial building. Sturgis brokered the $8.5 million transaction on behalf of the seller.

Anglers Commercial Center Ltd. Co. and Anglers II LLC sold the 2968 Ravenswood Road property to COFE Properties. The building includes 40,800 square feet of leasable space. It was originally built in 1972 and extensively renovated in 2000.

The transaction closed on Nov. 26.

Founded in 2002 as a privately owned real estate investment firm headquartered in Miami, with regional offices in Dallas, Houston and Atlanta, COFE Properties focuses on the acquisition and repositioning of commercial real estate assets. The firm has acquired and sold over 3.5 million square feet of industrial and office assets throughout Florida, Texas and Georgia.

In less than two weeks, Native completed several investment sales transactions totaling over $18 million in combined sale price in various markets across South Florida. These successful deals included retail, industrial and office building sales. A few weeks earlier, Native closed a $5.36 million boutique multifamily building sale in Fort Lauderdale.

“As investment sales activity picks up, we are being called upon to handle both discreet off-market transactions and exclusive property sale listings,” Sturgis said. “Today’s buyers and sellers want to move quickly, as commercial real estate investors have pent-up capital waiting to be deployed in South Florida. We have specialists in every major asset class, with the market knowledge, creativity and relationships to efficiently close investment sales transactions.”

Native is actively interviewing senior commercial real estate brokers in Broward and Palm Beach counties to accommodate the increased demand for the firm’s services.
