Native Realty CEO Jaime Sturgis brokered a new lease transaction that allows a popular swimwear retailer to expand to Palm Beach County. Sturgis represented longtime client Montce Swim in its lease for a brand-new store on downtown Delray Beach’s bustling Atlantic Avenue.
Montce leased 1,720 square feet at 10 SE First Ave. (Atlantic Ave.) Suite C, Delray Beach, FL 33444. The homegrown retailer is expanding from its flagship Fort Lauderdale store – and Miami and California locations – to rapidly growing downtown Delray Beach.
“This deal is especially gratifying given our long-term history with Montce Swim,” Sturgis said. “As we continue to gain substantial market share in Palm Beach County, we are increasingly leveraging our relationships there to help clients elsewhere in South Florida achieve their expansion goals. We have numerous exciting leasing and investment sales transactions in the works in Palm Beach County.”
Founded by South Florida natives Alexandra and Devin Grief, Montce opened its first store in Fort Lauderdale in 2013 and has since expanded into Miami’s Design District and California’s Hermosa Beach. Its swimwear has been featured in Vogue and Marie Claire and worn by celebrities including Kendall Jenner, Jennifer Lopez and Emily Ratajkowski.
In 2021, Sturgis brokered Montce Swim’s purchase of a retail building in Fort Lauderdale’s emerging Studio City neighborhood. That enabled Montce to significantly expand its store in the city to meet local customer demand.
