Native Realty, the pioneering Fort Lauderdale-based real estate firm led by Jaime Sturgis, is rapidly curating the city’s Thrive Arts District with an exciting mix of tenants. Firm COO Kaley Tuning represented Thrive’s landlord with five new leases to continue the firm’s overall momentum at the site.
Since commencing its exclusive leasing representation of Thrive just seven months ago, Native has secured 11 new tenants to bring the district to nearly 75% leased.
Thrive is a transformative 5.3-acre site located steps away from two large-scale mixed-use projects that will be home to nearly 1,000 residents. It features food-and-beverage, retail and office space and a 17,000-square-foot courtyard that hosts weekly events and concerts.
The newest leases at Thrive include:
- Sweet Leaf Body Art, a modern body arts and tattoo studio that leased 1,540 square feet
- Greek Sugar, a Greek restaurant that leased 1,536 square feet
- Frandoge, a French-inspired wine bar and eatery that leased 1,270 square feet
- Petrol Head Motor Co., a vintage motorcycle and apparel shop that leased 1,268 square feet
- Her Haus Studios, a modern-day, creative office specializing in content creation and podcasts, which leased 772 square feet
“As a fourth-generation South Florida native, it has been incredibly rewarding to play a role in the continued curation of Thrive Arts District – a neighborhood I have enjoyed watching take shape over the years,” Tuning said. “Representing both the landlord and several new tenants here, it is a privilege to help bring new energy and vision to this community. The Fish brothers’ passion for what they have built is undeniable.”
Tuning added that several additional leases are in the process of being finalized.
These tenants join the following recent arrivals at Thrive: Casa De Kava, Laurie Duncan Fine Art, Pulse Pilates, Pros Performance, Summit Marketing & Promotions and YogiThot.
“Kaley and our team are curating a rockstar tenant roster that is turning heads in the local market,” Sturgis said. “As brokers who spend significant time in the neighborhood where Thrive is located, we start new assignments like this by thinking first about the kinds of businesses we would want to regularly visit. That approach reflects the Native difference and our ability to thoughtfully – and efficiently – execute such campaigns.”
Native is also actively working on $100 million in off-market investment sales opportunities on behalf of commercial real estate investor clients.
