Native Realty Fully Leases Motif at Flagler Village in Fort Lauderdale

Native Realty, the pioneering Fort Lauderdale-based real estate firm led by Jaime Sturgis, demonstrated its unmatched tenant curation abilities by fully leasing Motif at Flagler Village. The firm represented both sides in a lease for the final available space at Motif with Chicago-based Go Grocer, which is making its Florida debut at the building.

A rapidly expanding high-end market and convenience store, Go Grocer offers both in-person shopping and delivery through its own app. Go Grocer leased 2,538 square feet at Motif, the 385-unit mixed-use building with 23,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and restaurant space at 500 N. Andrews Ave.

Native CEO Jaime Sturgis and COO Kaley Tuning represented Motif’s owner in the lease with Go Grocer, while Native’s Sarah and Jeremiah Adler represented the tenant.

Other tenants Native previously brought to Motif include Livia Bar & Grill, Salon Lofts, BFT Fitness and Dog Drop. Motif is located directly across from FAT (Food Art Technology) Village, where a development partnership led by Hines plans an 835,000-square-foot, office, retail and residential destination on 5.6 acres.

“Motif is a shining example of our role leading the placemaking of Flagler Village into one of the coolest urban neighborhoods in the Southeast U.S.,” Sturgis said. “We were extremely thoughtful in our approach to this leasing campaign to ensure the tenant mix complemented each other and the surrounding neighborhood. We are now replicating this approach at similar developments in Fort Lauderdale and throughout South Florida.”
