Native Realty added to its lengthy list of prestigious real estate industry recognitions by being honored as one of the 2025 Influencers in Retail Real Estate by national commercial real estate publication GlobeSt.
Native was one of only eight commercial real estate companies to be recognized at the organizational level.
“Founded in 2017 by CEO Jaime Sturgis, Native Realty has quickly become a dominant force in South Florida’s commercial real estate market. The firm’s rapid growth and innovative approach have earned it a spot on the South Florida Business Journal’s Top Commercial Brokerages ranking. Native Realty’s success is rooted in its holistic approach, combining local market knowledge with institutional discipline to serve retail real estate investors, developers, and operators.
In 2024, Native Realty significantly expanded its team, more than tripling its number of brokers and acquiring the 18-agent, full-service Fort Lauderdale brokerage No Limit Real Estate. This expansion reflects Native’s commitment to fostering a collaborative and supportive environment, contrasting with the industry’s often competitive nature.
Native Realty’s impact extends to curating retail and food-and-beverage components for large-scale projects. Notably, the firm fully pre-leased the Marina Village component of the $1 billion Bahia Mar development in Fort Lauderdale Beach, securing eight distinct F&B concepts before the project’s completion. Other successfully activated projects include Motif in Flagler Village, and Eon and Eon Squared in Fort Lauderdale’s Sistrunk neighborhood.
Native Realty also demonstrated resilience and dealmaking prowess, brokering more than $18 million in commercial real estate investment sales within a two-week span in November 2024, including a $5 million off-market retail center sale. The firm is also actively involved in placemaking, such as securing a 10-year lease for UK-based Meder Beauty’s U.S. debut in Fort Lauderdale’s Studio City. The firm’s commitment to community is demonstrated by their involvement in numerous civic organizations and non-profits.”
