Native Realty Welcomes Corey Kingsbury to Growing Team of Commercial Real Estate Associates

Native Realty, the pioneering Fort Lauderdale-based real estate firm led by Jaime Sturgis, bolstered its expanding team of commercial real estate specialists with the addition of new Associate Corey Kingsbury. The broker joins Native from Horvath & Tremblay, where he focused on retail investment sales throughout Broward County.

Kingsbury, who also spent time with Marcus & Millichap, brings a unique background and more than seven years of sales experience to Native. A self-described “military brat” who was born in Okinawa, Japan, Kingsbury served in the U.S. Air Force for six years, rising to the rank of Staff Sargeant and earning four Joint Service Achievement Medals. He also worked as a radio DJ while stationed in Germany and was named Department of Defense Public Affairs Broadcast Journalist of the Year.

Before transitioning into commercial real estate, Kingsbury worked in various sales and management roles in all four major professional sports leagues. He spent time with the Washington Commanders, Baltimore Ravens, Washington Wizards, Washington Capitals and Miami Marlins.

Native Realty has been the talk of the South Florida brokerage industry of late, as it consistently attracts brokers from stuffy, corporate firms that operate like boiler rooms. The firm closes institutional-level deals in a collaborative and fun working environment, prioritizing culture above all. Native provides hands-on mentorship and training for its team members, often inviting outside experts to share best practices and insights on important topics.

Earlier this year, Native acquired full-service Fort Lauderdale brokerage No Limit Real Estate, the Kyle Sorel and Jordan Cohen-led firm with 18 agents. That followed the arrival of Native Residential Sales Director Whitney Dutton and his team from Re/Max, which facilitated the launch of Native’s residential real estate division.
