Native Realty Brings Popular Hot & Soul Restaurant Back to Fort Lauderdale

The firm’s Jaime Sturgis and Dan Ross collaborated to finalize a lease with Hot & Soul at the new Six13 development in the Sistrunk neighborhood. Sturgis represents the development in its retail and restaurant leasing, while Ross represented the restaurant. The news was covered by the South Florida Business Journal.

Fort Lauderdale-based Native Realty handles the ground-level leasing of the mixed-use project with 142 planned apartment units

“The restaurant, owned by Mike Hampton and Christy Savoy, leased 1,600 square feet within the upcoming Six13 development at 613 N.W. Third Ave. in Fort Lauderdale’s Sistrunk neighborhood. The original Hot & Soul was open for five years at the shopping center on the southeast corner of N. Federal Highway and Oakland Park Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, but closed in 2018.”
